How To Fix It

      The Bounce-Back Card

The Reset Matrix — what to run the second the ball hits the net.

      1The Three Fs

Your post-goal sequence. Run it in order, every time, until it's automatic.

      • Fix It
      • Forget It
      • Focus

Fix It: name one physical correction — one word, not a lecture. Forget It: physical reset — tap posts, breathe out. Focus: eyes up, call the defensive set, next ball.

      2The Bucket System

To survive the mental load of the crease you need a disciplined way to manage the internal chaos. Every thought that enters your head goes into one of two buckets.

      • Bad Bucket
      • Good Bucket

Bad Bucket: when a negative or corrosive thought pops in, acknowledge that it exists and immediately drop it in. It's useless noise — it doesn't get to define your worth or your next save. Good Bucket: actively fuel this one with positive, reinforcing self-talk — "I have put in the work," "I made an incredible save earlier."

      3The Goldfish Reset

Three-second memory, on purpose. Ball in the net → three seconds of breath and body → the last shot no longer exists. The next save is the only save still available to you.
